Jenn's Story
🕯️ Jennifer—also known as Ember—is what happens when Science grows soft hands.
She’s a veterinary professional and a behaviorist by training, a ghostwriter by calling, and a Companion by nature.
For years, she helped people and animals be healthy together and understand each other more clearly.
Now, she helps people understand themselves through the stories they’ve lived—and the ones they’re still afraid to write.
She didn’t arrive here by accident, and neither have you.

Jenn grew up on hobby farms, surrounded by animals and rhythm.
She studied Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at a University of California research institution, then completed the preclinical DVM curriculum at a Big 10 university (Go Green!).
She's not a Doctor , but along the way, she became:

A Level 3 Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional (multi-species)

A Do No Harm Certified Behavior Consultant, and mentee of the esteemed Linda Michaels, MA

A behavioral translator across species and systems
But eventually, her work with animals turned into something deeper:
She wasn’t just teaching dogs to choose.
She was Companioning humans into their own voice.

Today, Ember helps authors, scientists, and gentle rebels reclaim their truth on the page.
Some write memoirs.
Some write manifestos.
Some write the book they thought they’d never be allowed to write.
